Bryce Canyon is the most colorful, glowing formation of rock I have ever seen. It is the start of the Grand Staircase which eventually ends at the Grand Canyon. The pilars of rock, called "Hoodoos" are formed by countless years of water erosion. Because of their red color and the way the sun rays strike them, they have the illusion of containing an internal light source. The first 7 pictures were taken along the Navajo Loop Trail which starts at the top of the canyon, winds it way to the bottom and meets up back at the top.
