After the island hike ended and before I took a cold dip in the cove, I strolled up to the lighthouse, and this is as far as I got without getting into trouble. Besides the lighthouse there is also a very loud foghorn with warning signs of possible ear damage beyond this point. The bulb and magnifying glass assembly previously used in the lighthouse are on display at the island museum.
